Motivated by the tragic loss their 19-year-old son, Logan, Erin and Rick Rachwal started the Love, Logan Foundation. On Valentine’s Day, 2021, Logan took his last breath in his dorm room after ingesting a counterfeit pill that contained a lethal dose of illicit fentanyl; a pill made to look exactly like a prescription Oxycodone. The Love, Logan Foundation is raising money to fund programs to raise awareness of the number one killer of Americans ages 18 to 45. That killer is fentanyl related overdoses and poisonings. Fentanyl related deaths are also the fastest growing cause of death in the USA for ages 10 to 18.
The Love, Logan Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity with a mission to save lives through increased support in the community, to end the stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorder and to raise awareness of the dangers of fentanyl and other illicit drugs. The Love, Logan Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and educating our communities to save as many lives as possible from this epidemic. Fundraising efforts will support the education of youth, adolescents, parents and communities through presentations, awareness materials and media.
